Our poor Hamburg office…

Today we received the news that the Hamburg office is under water (again). Hamburg is the home of Flash authoring, including the fantastic Device Central.

Apparently the office is surrounded by metal windows and a huuuuuge door to keep the water out when this happens. Is it just the Germans showing off?

That can’t be good for anyone. :(
The photo reminded me of the N95 “bath time” project:

It’s not as bas as it looks, amazingly they made the building waterproof as it happens quite regularly. Still I dont think I’ll be visiting for a while ;-)

Hamburg wants to be the new Venice?

“amazingly they made the building waterproof as it happens quite regularly.”

At what level of regularity does one classify the real estate as a flood plain?
