Yesterday at the Adobe offices in Barcelona we completed a Flash Lite 3 training course with five people are now certified trainers in Europe! I’ll be naming them soon, not to worry
While I was in Barcelona I met with some fantastic content developers from various companies working on everything from Flash Lite 1.1 to Flash Lite 3. It’s always great to see people working hard and being successful using Flash Lite 1.1 to create cool connected applications that operate on even the lowest end handsets.
Peformance came up again and so I’m going to be releasing some in-house documentation in my examples section really soon. The data comes via an internal project where we needed to learn the best ways to write code for what are now low end devices.
Also on the internet, Richard Leggett has written a great article on Flash Lite and his experiences and thoughts for the future. This has done the rounds at Adobe and resulted in a trail of interesting comments. Go see it here.

Hey Mark
will be cool to see some learnings on performance - and am looking forward to hopefully see you back in Copenhagen soon - and don’t worry i’ll make sure to recomend you a better hotel than the Grand next time you need to stay here
